About Susan K Bryant
Susan enjoys experimenting with a variety of subject matter, paint mediums, and styles. She is always trying something new which keeps her artwork vital and lively. 

Susan is a past president of the Mt Pleasant Artists Guild and an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild. 

Susan and her family members enjoy exploring around the Charleston, South Carolina area for beautiful scenes of nature and architecture for photographs and painting subjects.​ Susan has also started painting portraits of people and pets and sometimes people with their pets. Her paintings are expressive and capture the personality and charm of her subjects making each painting a work of art with emotion and energy.

Susan majored in Art Education and Interior Design at UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Chapel Hill and CPCC-Charlotte. She was an exhibiting member of the Charlotte Art Guild where she won awards in art exhibits. As a real estate agent and furnished rental property owner, Susan was able to help her clients with their home renovation projects and home decorating. She owns a commercial building in the Cainhoy Plantation area that has an art gallery showroom for interior designers and others that is open by appointment. Susan enjoys experimenting with a variety of techniques including art photography, oils, acrylics, watercolors, and oil pastels. Subject matter includes marshes, woodlands, bridges, boats, people, pets, beaches, and buildings. She paints for relaxation therapy and expressing her love of nature.
